We worked on this lovely sunny house in two stages and eventually ended up working on the Kitchen, Reception Room, Bathroom and two Studys.

The client wanted to work with the white Kitchen units that were already in place so it was about refreshing and revitalising the space with colour. We kept the overall look light and bright and added a green backsplash in diamond tiles and pink and aquamarine accents.
This green was continued through to the Reception Room in an. elegant scheme with textured wallpaper which added warmth and earthy red accents to ground the space and create a cosy feel.

The bathroom uses one of my favourite Pierre Frey prints and is teamed with an elegant roll top bath and blue panelling. It’s a fun yet chic space to relax in and have a soak.

We designed two studys for the project but started with his in the first phase. This room was the smaller and darker of the two rooms with a small window, so we decided to embrace the lack of light and go for a warm, caramel tone on the walls with ochre and teal accents. Antique furniture in dark wood, contemporary art and stripes added character and helped the scheme feel grown and provided an ideal environment to work from. The second study was hers which took an entirely different direction. The room was large and had a bay window with light pouring in and a view of the garden. The scheme started from a beautiful oriental fabric in a rich gold. This would recover the client’s chase which needed some attention. The fabric had many rich jewel like colours which dictated the entire scheme; rich red, bright pink, burnt orange and leaf green. The walls had a yellow wiggle wallpaper which made the room glow in the sunlight.
