To celebrate London Design Week, Laura was asked to design two spaces within the flagship showroom of Romo Fabrics. Highlighting the fabulous prints and colours found in their new collection, she designed two spaces; a whimsical, playful but luxurious bedroom space, and a midcentury style lounge area.
Both of these “rooms” brought in pattern, layers of decoration, and of course, colour to make the rooms pop. Combining stripes, organic squiggles, checks, and plains, these spaces highlight the incredible versatility of small and large prints alike.
In addition to the showroom feature, Laura also participated in a panel with executive editor of House & Garden, Laura Normanton, and Romo’s director of Design & Excellence, Emily Mould, to discuss how to make an impact using small prints. It was such a joy to bring these spaces to life, and show the incredible range of design styles that this fabric range can work with.
It was a delight to work with such a well respected brand that has been consistently delivering quality British craftsmanship to the interiors space for over a hundred years.
