Our client in NW10 had moved into her lovely Victorian terrace in North London only a few weeks before she made a call to us. The house had needed some work and she had come off of making lots of decisions in a very short amount of time.

Whilst our client was happy with the paint colours she had chosen, she had run out of steam for the rest of the design for this family home. With all the of the moving parts, she was stumped on how to make her house feel like her own and add the layers of colour, pattern and character which she craved.

This was project was a true collaboration where we worked within the parameters our client had already decided. Because the paint colours were chosen for us, we had a spring board to bring in beautiful fabrics and decorative pieces to complete the home. Our client created the firm foundation to build a colourful and energetic scheme. 

The client wanted to create an eclectic look and was open to using bold colour, interesting furniture and ‘pattern on pattern’ (for example, allowing us to pair a heavily patterned runner with her original Victorian mosaic tiled floor). This playful pattern mixing is part of our signature design approach, which made this project such a joy to work on!

We fulfilled the brief by creating several bespoke pieces of furniture for this project, paired with vintage pieces we sourced, as well as adding some bold rugs and layers of patterned fabrics along with the client’s own lovely artwork.

The result is a highly personal, cosy and colourful home.
