Born from a long-held mutual admiration, the Parlour x Le Dot Chair is a natural collaboration between CÔTE DE FOLK’s founder Sophie Rowell and designer Laura Stephens.
Both designers launched signature ranges in 2025; Laura with the Parlour Chair, and Sophie with her Le Dot fabric collection, offered in two styles and five colourways. This shared moment led to a collaboration that brings fabric and form into playful conversation.
The result is an armchair full of character and personality. Shown here in Le Podge in Brown Sauce, the piece acts as a lively neutral, adding warmth while sitting beautifully within a wide range of interior schemes.

Originally a formal sitting room for receiving guests, the parlour was a space for conversation, beauty, and quiet grandeur. Parlour by Laura Stephens brings the timeless charm of the traditional parlour into the modern home. Each piece is designed to add colour, character and a touch of theatre and have been carefully curated to make everyday living feel a little more elegant, a little more joyful.
In her search for the perfect armchair, Laura came across a 1930s vintage piece in an antique shop. Captivated by its elegant silhouette and petite proportions, she was inspired to reimagine the design — retaining its sculptural charm while updating it for modern living.
Parlour is about capturing the spirit of a beautifully imagined room — a space with history, character, and a touch of theatre. It’s a brand that celebrates the elegance of the past through a fresh, modern lens. I’ve always wanted to create furniture that reflects my interiors — layered, elegant, and playful. Launching Parlour now felt right, as people are looking for pieces that bring soul and individuality to their homes.
