Interior Design Consultations

Laura and team

Your home should be a space that reflects you and your style. Designing and decorating it should be fun, not overwhelming. Our online consultations will provide you with the confidence to carry out your project as well as giving you a wealth of ideas,

Laura

We design rooms all day every day so whether you’re taking on a full renovation and don’t know where to start, or need to refresh a room in your home, we can guide you in creating a space that you’ll love, offer a fresh perspective and answer your questions.

We offer hour-long interior design consultations with Laura or one of her Senior Designers; Andrea or Hande, in which we discuss your project. During your interior design consultation you can show your space over video, put together a presentation with images and inspiration or just talk through your questions and take notes. Whether you have a small space or you are looking to completely revamp multiple rooms in your home, our interior design consulting service aims to make the process easy.

You can get advice on:

  • Wallpapers, wall finishes and paint colours
  • Fabrics and upholdstery
  • Furniture selection and placement
  • Floor plans and room layouts
  • Where to shop and brands to know
  • Styling (surfaces, sofas, beds, walls etc.)
  • Window treatments i.e. curtains, blinds
  • Cabinetry, joinery and built-ins
  • Fixtures, finishes and trims
  • Lighting
  • Construction and redesign ideas

Create A Modern Space With An Experienced Interior Design Consultant

Throughout our time within the industry, we have found that consultations are most effective when we discuss one space per hour’s consultation. Should you want to redesign more than one room in your home, you can book a series of interior design consultations for the various rooms in your house.

Following the session, you’ll receive a summary document with all the ideas and suggestions discussed during the consultation for you to refer back to. If you have any style and colour preferences please discuss this with us so we can have those in mind when feeding back our ideas!

If further ideas and changes are required after our summary document and feedback we can do this on our hourly rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Consultations will take place on Zoom video calls. Prior to the scheduled consultation, you will receive a link via email to join the video call. From there, you’ll be able to show your space, ask questions and get feedback/advice. There is not a set structure for how you utilise your time; consultations are meant to be collaborative and tailored to your needs and taste.

We suggest you put together a simple presentation and/or Pinterest board that includes photos of the space you need help with and questions you’d like answered. We ask that you send this ahead of your online consultation so we have time to get to grips with your space and style and can offer practical advice from the get go. Some people also include floor plans, sketches and any furniture they have already that needs to be considered in the schemes.

It is easier and more efficient to send us photos and/or videos of your space ahead of time. You can also walk us through your space whilst on the video call. A floorplan, if available, is very useful. If you don’t have one to hand, a simple sketch is fine!

You will receive a summary of what we have discussed in a document with ideas and further suggestions all in one place for you to refer back to.
